A Father Teaches His Son A Life Lesson On His Deathbed

It doesn’t matter who we are, it always helps to have a lesson taught to us from time to time. We may seek those lessons out, perhaps even looking at videos online to see what we can see but there are also times when we receive lessons from those we love the most.

That is the case in the following story. We can’t prove that it is true, but we can say that it teaches us all something that is good to know. It involves a father who teaches his son a valuable lesson while he is on his deathbed.

A father before he died said to his son: “This is a rugby ball your grandfather gave me, and it’s more than a century old. But before I give it to you, go to the Sports Shop and tell him I want to sell it, and see how much he offers you.“

He went, and then came back to his father, and said, “The Sports Shop offered $5 because it’s old.“

He said to him: “Go to the Second-Hand shop.“

He went and then came back, and said: “They also offered $5 father.“

“OK now go to the museum and show them that ball.“

He went then came back, and said to his father “They offered me $500,000 for this old leather ball.“

The father said: “I wanted to let you know that the right place values you in the right way.

Don’t find yourself in the wrong place and get angry if you’re not valued. Those that know your value are those who appreciate you, don’t stay in a place where nobody sees your value.
